FAQs

1) What is your typical process for working with a new client?

The first step is to complete The ULT Assessment, a 10-minute online survey. Please refer to the home page to take the assessment. The results serve as a benchmark to create a coaching style that pertains to your unique way of relating and downloading information. The ULT Assessment is a comprehensive behavior, personality, and communication tool that allows me to understand you better. Whether the services are offered to an individual, couples or teams of people, the assessment is used as part of the applied methodology, which will save time, money, and energy!
Once the test has been completed, you will receive a 10-minute phone consultation with me to provide you an insight into your results and the initial coaching package recommended for you. Sessions are booked in blocks of hours. Each session is 60 minutes.

2) Do you have a standard pricing system for your service?

The below prices are based on a single person session. For more detailed and customized pricing, please refer to the Services tab or contact Haleh Gianni directly.
Pre-Paid Package of 6 Sessions: $929
Pre-Paid Package of 12 Sessions: $1,799
Pre-Paid Package of 24 Sessions: $3,200
Single sessions can be booked on-demand. $199
Duration: 60 minutes per session
Sessions can be in-person, online, or on the phone.

All services must include participating in The ULT Assessment.
Team Assessments and Presentation: Customized Packages are offered upon request
Public Speaking: $500 per hour
Sessions are booked on a weekly basis.

3) What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BS in Biochemistry, MS. in Communication Management and the highest level of certification from The Y.O.U. Institute as a Professional Life Coach and Trainer. My specialty is in understanding natural human behavior and individuality. I have a diverse background that spans from science to technology and human relations with over a decade in start-ups, team building and agile development methodology. My passion and drive has always circled back to human behavior and what motivates us on individualized basis. I have been a coach since 2008.

4) How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been fascinated with how different people are from one another and what makes us tic. During my college days, I wanted to be a physician. I wanted to help people heal. While doing my volunteer work at one of the busiest ERs in the country, I realized I wasn’t cut out for blood and physical pain. That realization led to having a change of heart and going back to school to learn about communication and computers. After working in some of the fastest pace companies, I realized my purpose has always been to heal, to soothe, to guide and to help people live with peace in all of their relationships. I chose Life Coaching as a practical, hands-on and interactive method to do just that. My background has expanded my horizons beyond my imagination and has allowed me to have a unique way to relate to people from all walks of life. I’m grateful beyond measures to be a source of useful information and inspiration in people’s lives.

5) What types of customers have you worked with?

My clients come from all professions, backgrounds, gender and ages. Anytime there’s a human being in the equation I can be of help.

6) Describe a recent coaching outcome you are fond of. How long did it take?

The biggest fulfillment in my life comes from witnessing the successes that my clients have achieved in their personal and professional life. I have seen tremendous improvement in how my clients feel about themselves, others and life and this for me is truly gratifying. There really isn’t a set timeline for experiencing the shift. Everyone is absolutely different and in a different chapter of his/her life. My recent testimonial came from a parent of a 24-year young lady who was thrilled that her daughter has been receiving coaching sessions from me. She said the change in her decision making and life choices have been significantly better.

7) What advice would you give someone looking to hire a life & relationship coach?

a) Know that there is not a cookie-cutter solution or answer to your questions. We are all as unique as our thumbprints. What works for me, may not work for you. So when selecting a Life Coach, you want to evaluate their methodology and make sure that they have a way of understanding you beyond your past history or what you may perceive of yourself or others.

b) Find out if the coach is willing to have a free phone or video conferencing consultation with you. If it important that you talk first before making a commitment.

c) If you’re looking for a career development coach, it is important that the individual is familiar with the industry you’re interested in exploring and/or has an understanding of the nature of that profession.

8) What questions should someone think through before talking to a professional coach?

a) Your commitment to learning a new way of approaching your life and your relationships is very important. Before investing in a Life Coach, ask yourself: how committed am I?

b) Think about your availability to put in the work. My coaching sessions are very interactive and require your attention as well as participation in taking action.

c) It is important to reduce the negative influences around you while you’re focusing on you. Take an inventory of your life right now. Are you distracted by something or someone? Are you in a toxic relationship? or are the people around you supportive of your personal growth? These are important questions to ask yourself. Either way, you definitely want to discuss them with your coach.

d) Lastly, I am so proud of you seeking help, guidance, and ways to enhance your life. You got the first step covered.

9) What is the term of services and cancellation policy?

1. Cancellation/ No Show Policy for All Appointments (In-Person and Online):
I understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. Because of that, I honor a one-time allowance for no-shows and cancellations with less than 24-hour notice. Beyond that, all cancellations must be made 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Please understand that when you cancel less than 48 hours of your scheduled session, I won’t be able to fill that time slot to accommodate another client’s needed visit, and I’ll lose an entire hour from my work schedule.

If an appointment is not canceled at least 48 hours in advance, it will be deducted as a session from your pre-paid package.

2. Scheduled Appointments
I understand that delays can happen. If you are running late to your appointment, please send a text message to 858.337.3535 notifying me of your delay. Your session begins at the time of your appointment. So if you’re late by 15-minutes, you will receive a 45-minute session. Beyond 30-minutes late, your session will be considered as a no-show.

3. Payment for Sessions
Sessions are pre-paid in packages of 6, 12, and 24 blocks of 60-minutes each. Payment must be made in full before or at the time of the first session. The client can request to be sent an online invoice or pay at the time of visit. Arrangements for payment will be set during your initial consultation.

All business clients must pay-in-advance for all business coaching services.
